System requirements

In order to run the MapleXp application the following Microsoft Windows system components must be installed on user's machine:
Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.5 SP1
Microsoft SQL Compact Edition 3.5 (RTM, SP1, SP2)
All the forementioned software is freely available from Microsoft and can be downloaded by means of the following links.
Though, it is not necessary to install these components manually. The MapleXp installer will check whether required components
are missing and install them if needed. (missing components will be downloaded by the installer from Microsoft website)

What do I need?
|

|
Depending on the version of Microsoft Windows as well as other software that has been installed on user's machine
some of those components can already be present and there is no need to install them once again.
The following table can be useful when deciding which components you might need. Remember though that the notes apply
to clean Windows installations.
